This camera with the very reduced dimensions (the format is 20 x 20 mm) is entirely out of cast iron. This iron alloy with strong percentage of carbon, easy to mould was use in many branches of industry. However, this material was breakable and, especially, very sensitive with oxidation. The thick coat of hammered paint which covered the camera was intended to “delay” the rust.

Mc Keown does not say any more about this camera except which he was proposed three colours black, blue and green…
